Surfside at a Turning Point
Surfside is facing important choices that will shape our town for decades. There is growing pressure to upzone neighborhoods, build bigger developments, and increase traffic. While change may be inevitable, how we manage it matters.
Andrea believes Surfside can grow thoughtfully — without losing the character, calm, and sense of community that residents value.
What Makes Surfside Special
Quiet Streets
Neighborhoods should feel safe, calm, and livable — not overwhelmed by congestion.
Light & Air
Development should respect scale, space, and the everyday quality of life.
Walkability
Surfside should remain a place where people can walk, connect, and enjoy their town.
Community
Decisions should strengthen — not divide — the fabric of our community.

A Better Path Forward
Smart growth requires thoughtful leadership, careful planning, and long-term thinking. Andrea believes decisions should be based on facts, community input, and what truly benefits Surfside — not outside pressure or short-term interests.
This balanced approach protects residents today while planning responsibly for tomorrow.
Safer Streets &
Smarter Traffic
Andrea will work with Miami-Dade County and FDOT to improve traffic flow, reduce congestion, and enhance pedestrian safety throughout Surfside.
Protecting Residential Quality of Life
From prioritizing resident parking to preserving neighborhood character, Andrea is committed to keeping Surfside livable as change occurs.
Responsible Growth
Andrea supports development that respects Surfside’s scale and works with state leaders to limit the negative impacts of legislation like the Live Local Act.
Strong Financial Stewardship
Andrea believes in fiscal responsibility, safeguarding taxpayer dollars, and pursuing grants and outside funding to support Surfside’s long-term needs.

A Volunteer’s Heart. An Engineer’s Mind.
Andrea is a civil engineer with experience working on complex infrastructure projects around the world. He understands how today’s decisions affect safety, finances, and livability for years to come.
As a long-time Surfside volunteer, Andrea believes good leadership starts with listening, collaboration, and showing up for the community.
